My Poems

"A poem is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings : it takes it's origins from emotion

recollected in tranquility." ~ William Wordsworth.

This is a collection of poems that I wrote for my friends. I wrote Yellow Roses for friends and family and everyone who was with me. I wrote These People in the Car for four of my closest friends at that time. And I wrote The Learning Place for the friends I have found in college. I am truly grateful for them.

What will happen in my future? Will I succeed? Will I fail? I don't know.

The Daunting Truth.jpg

A Sad Reality

I wrote this poem when I saw a video of kids from war-torn countries. When they were asked what wish they had, their answers hit me deeply. Some wished for food, some wished to bring their father back, and some wished to just go to school.
I cannot personally do anything about it but be grateful for the life I have got.

When a deep realization hits, it shakes one's soul, as it did mine.

What Is Love.jpg

Poetry To Give Love...

“What is love?”
Love is a mother’s hug.
Love is a father’s pride.
Love is a chord struck,
in your heart. Love is a smile.

Horrible things happen in the world. And I don't want them to happen to my loved ones.

The Demon Inside.jpg

Find The Demon In You . . .

I can’t sail everywhere.
I have many destinations, though.
The one I desire, the one I yearn for, the one the Demon wants, is so far . . .

I wrote this poem in 2019. I had started to learn about Shivji. It was then when I started admiring him.

I have always admired Hanuman ji and this poem talks about him.
